What do you mean about basketball? Are you playing basketball over there?
Hi, I'm a Chinese girl live in another city called HangZhou. Do you know how I find your web page? I'm searching for John Denver's song "sunshine on my shoulders" by google. Then I see a very strange web name "Wo Bu Zhidao" . So I run into your page ......Look, a big coincidence!
Maybe we could be mail friends ^.^
That is quite a coincidence. When I was young my parents really liked John Denver so now I listen to him whenever I miss home. My two favorite songs by him are "Sunshine On My Shoulders" and "Calypso."
Hi Eric! I'm an intern in Beijing. So funny to stumble across your website, I was looking for anti-counterfeiting newsclippings for work and hit your "smoky sings" article. :P Good to see that you are able to keep up with hobbies and reading, one of my favourite things to do too. Life abroad can be so consuming!
Hi Eric (I found you name from other ppl's message)
I fascinated by your website when I saw it the first time about 5 minutes ago. Know how I found your web? I was searching "Lei feng" in google.
I think there are a lot to see. I will digging into it now. See you later. I will send you email.
Btw I am Chinese girl studying Arabic in Beijing.

This is the message from a desperate girl from holland, working on her Masterthesis...
I am doing research on internet use and social contacts in China. To find support for my assumptions I have created a Chinese Survey. I am having some problems with getting a large group of respondents. Don't have access to Chinese sites since I don't speak or write Chinese (unfortunately....)
Can you help me by sending this link to Chinese friends? And can you ask them so send this link to their friends and relatives? It would be so helpful for me!
If you have any questions please email me at kathleen.asjes@gmail.com.
Saw your blog because I typed "Las Cruces blog" into google and then saw Wu bu zhidao....and thought...someone in Las Cruces....and China!
I went to university at NMSU and from 97-98 I studied in Beijing. Now, back in those days there weren't ANY links with students from NMSU who wanted to study Mandarin on the mainland, just a student exchange with a school in HK. Cantonese, duh?
So, have things changed?
Anyways, why I wanted to write you was because I saw a picture that you had posted from Korea with the title...Best Baozi and a picture of the vendor. I noticed the stall was from the Goubuli Baozi group, which happens to be the best baozi in Tianjin...famous for 'em.
Back in the day I took a train from Beijing just to try these renowned little baozi.
Were you aware of the coincidence?
Thanks for the trip down the memory arroyo... and if you are new to Las Cruces I can recommend a few places that are fantastic....Chupes, out past the pecan fields, Nellie's (old Nellies for the red chile, Little Nellie's for the green)the Fountain Theater in Mesilla and sunsets behind A-mountain... my husband and I spent a lot of time there (on The Thinking Couch). One more place, Whitewater Canyon in the Gila National Forest (round about Silver City area)is amazing and wonderful for camping.
